Maintenance Emergency Protocols

• Call 911 for life-threatening emergencies or go directly to the nearest emergency room
• Call your utility service provider first for flooding due to plumbing or an electrical emergency, and then call the maintenance hotline
• Call 911 for a gas leak, carbon monoxide leak, or fire, and then call the maintenance hotline. **Also call your service provider after 911 to report a gas leak**
• No functioning toilets in the house
• You have sewage overflow
• No water
• Water leaks that are causing immediate damage to the home
• No heat or air when temperatures are below 45 degrees or above 95 degrees
• Security and safety issues (broken windows, broken doors)
• Electrical outages (not caused by the power company) and loss of power to medical equipment
